Team Tuesdays: Poker Night

They've only won 3 games all year and they probably don't care. Poker Night are possibly the most fun team in the league and they play for the right reason: to have fun. Poker Night has been feeling their way through the season. Last fall they were Go Jackie Go and had 3 returning players for this season: team captains Todd Scott and Scott Hatfield and Adam Rose. Joining the team this year is Jason Watson, Michael Marcum, and Austin Hanna. Together they have been making the best of it as they endured several losses.
But things have been looking up for Poker Night as of late. They have developed their pitching throughout the season and have been able to have some incredibly close games recently. In Week 9 of the regular season they played two 10-inning games against Wiffle Ballers and split the series. They are not the same team they were on opening day and they may actually stand a chance in the playoffs. They spent much of the season in last place but are far from the league's "whipping team." 5 out of their 6 players have pitched at some point during the season and none of them are horrible at it. The problem for Poker Night (and the Green Bears) is that they are one of two teams in the entire league that lack a pitching ace. The absense of someone who can really burn the ball in there seems to be the only way this team is at any disadvantage against most teams. With the right addition to their team in 2015, this team could do some damage.
