Power RAYnkings: Week 9
With divisions wrapped up, Breaking Balls and SOMB are going into the final two weeks relaxed knowing they have the top seed for the playoffs. But there are some games that are still very important. Black Sheep vs C&W is a major match up and will determine who gets home field against each other for the playoffs.
Black Sheep VS Chicken and Wiffles
Last time these two teams met, it shocked the league. Chicken and Wiffles were heavily favored after they crushed PWT and Black Sheep were mercied the first game and no hit the second. No one saw the utter destruction Black Sheep was about to unload on them. They came with a purpose and fulfilled their mission by sweeping C&W. Hitting was non existent with C&W and pitching wasn't on point. I don't think they will overlook this series like last time and if anything were waiting for this opportunity again to prove it was a mistake. Fischer is looking better and faster every week. As a team C&W is hitting better. But this is like deja vu all over again. Black Sheep just got mercied by SOMB both games and C&W is coming off 2 wins against PWT. Anything could happen.

Sit On My Base VS Plain White Tees
SOMB seems like they are whole again. Andrew is pitching way better and is constantly hitting the ball over the fence. Dunkle is swinging hard and making major plays when needed. All together this team is back on track and ready to face PWT. Andy has added some help which has proven to be beneficial keeping games much closer and giving them chances to win. I just don't see it this week.

Breaking Balls VS Wifflin' Dixie
The biggest question here is where's Gordon? His absence has really hurt due to the fact that they don't have a 2nd pitcher. Pritt tries and doesn't do too bad but I'm wanting to see Gordon pitch again. Gordon also adds a good bat (last year's home run king) which helps the pitching. Wifflin' Dixie can put up numbers still, they seem to give up when they get in a hole. Saxton is actually putting more speed on his pitches and is hitting better. But I think BB is too much for ole Dixie.

Asthmatics VS Huntington Wifflers
Sumiyah Chandhry is making a name for herself as a pitcher, now racking up 2 wins and no losses it might be time to put her in as a starter. The Asthmatics as a whole are a hit or miss ball club, they can be putting up a lot of runs or their bats go ice cold. They are going to need them to be on fire against the Wifflers. The Huntington Wifflers are a dangerous team that can give you a loss at any moment. If all the players show up I can see a split happening and making it one heck of a series of excellent pitching and hard hitting offense. This is going to be a fun series to watch.
