Last Call For Wiffleball

Saturday, July 23 is the last day of our 2015 season. We won't be playing again until October 8th for our second annual Hallowiffle Tournament. So for many, this is your last chance got get a taste of wiffleball for the rest of the year. So let's go out with a bang. We're expecting at least 8 teams for this event and want to see some more teams. So if you're a new player or team out there, don't be shy. Here's some reasons to come back or come out for the first time on July 23:

1) It's a lot of fun. The jury is no longer out on the format change. Everyone seems to love it. It's more relaxed and games don't last so long now that we've neutralized the element that led to pitcher's duels.

2) There won't be any more HWL action until October. Hallowiffle II takes place 10/8/2016 and it's still going to be benefiting the Hoops Children's Hospital but that's months away! Get your licks in now!

3) You can still ruin a contender's season. New team? Or a team near the bottom of the standings? That doesn't mean you can't pull off a few upset wins and really shake up the top side of the standings.

4) Redemption. Didn't hit well last time? Didn't hit as many home runs as you thought you would so far this season? This is your chance to kick it up a notch and push yourself.

5) Home Run Derby. The July Tournament will be the only HR Derby we'll hold all season. It's $5 per player and winner gets a prize. You don't even have to be on a team that's playing in the tournament to participate in this. Sign-up information on this coming soon.
